    Jenevieve Roper, Ph.D.

    Jenevieve Roper is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Sciences Department at Loyola Marymount University. She came to LMU from California State University, San Bernardino, where she was an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology. Her research specializes in biomechanics and running gait retraining for individuals with chronic knee pain. She has experience teaching a variety of classes, including Sports Nutrition and EKG interpretation. She also regularly writes for several fitness magazines. She currently serves the greater scientific community in several ways, but most prominently as President-Elect for the Southwest region of the American College of Sports Medicine. Her hobbies include kickball, beach volleyball, running (sometimes even half-marathons!) and doing crossword puzzles.
