    Mischa Livingstone’s award-winning films have screened at festivals worldwide and been added to the Smithsonian permanent collection. Festival screenings include the Berlin Intl. Film Festival, Montreal World Film Festival, Ann Arbor Film Festival, Seattle Intl. Film Festival, and Cinequest (Viewers’ Voice Award winner).Mischa was born in Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to Israel as a child. He studied at the Thelma Yellin School of the Arts before serving in the Israel Defense Forces and later moving to the United States. Studying at UCLA, he received a BA in Film Production (summa cum laude) and an MFA in Screenwriting. He is also an alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus. In addition to filmmaking, Mischa serves on the faculty of the Art Institute of California, Los Angeles, where he teaches writing and directing, and teaches at the School of Film and Television at Loyola Marymount University.
